Standardisation Drives Growth Goals

First steps
After 20 years of organically growing the business and its technology stack, it was time for Bugaboo to start a massive program to standardise its operations. The centerpiece was consolidating eight different ERP systems to harmonise data and simplify workflows.
Systems come together
Bugaboo chose NetSuite OneWorld over other ERP solutions after an intense RFP process including product demos and deep dives. With NetSuite, the company has standardised processes across finance and order and inventory management, including connecting a separate ERP instance managing manufacturing at its factory in China.
Speeding order-to-cash
Bugaboo now has accurate, reliable information on the complete order-to-cash cycle, giving it the ability to optimise inventory levels and meet demand. Order processing, transaction and fulfilment are standardised. Bugaboo handles inventory planning through a virtual setup allowing it to funnel inventory through the various sales channels—B2B commerce, B2C commerce, e-tail and brand stores—when orders are received in the system.
More milestones ahead
Bugaboo plans to mature its omnichannel capabilities to help hit its revenue growth targets. With an accurate, single database, it can confidently share information on order status and shipments with customers and share customer information across channels and departments.
