Well-Supported Program Faced Challenge

More kids equal more grants: As Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence expanded its reach and programmes, grant management grew increasingly complex. The organisation transitioned from one major grantor to three, each requiring strict, specific accounting of how funds are used, and it needed a system that could report on each separately.

Unmet expectations: The club was saddled with disparate systems that didn't communicate, requiring lots of duplication of tasks. Grants were tracked in spreadsheets, staff had to manually separate matched and reimbursed funds and grantor reporting expectations were not being met.
