“We needed to deliver high quality information to our shareholders and executive team while growing the business quickly and internationally but with a lean finance team. Choosing NetSuite and implementing it so quickly gave GPS, along with the SuiteApp tools, the ability to provide meaningful information quickly to the Board and our auditors.” Robert Tearle, Former Interim CFO, Global Processing Services

Enabling Financial Innovators

A global footprint
Founded in 2007 and predominantly focused on providing and enabling prepaid debit cards, GPS expanded to connect to over 40 issuing banks globally and now operates programs for more than 150+ clients in 60 countries, using over 150 currencies. Challenger banks such as Revolut and Starling Bank use the GPS platform, fuelling its 48.9% YoY client base growth.
Playing month-end catch-up
In 2018, an investment from private equity firm Dunedin LLP to support global expansion required GPS to provide greater real-time financial reporting. An existing Sage system and Excel processes restricted global visibility and reporting, resulting in delayed month-end close and the finance function constantly playing catch-up.
API links make the difference
GPS needed a new solution that could consolidate subsidiaries around the world and link to other financial ecosystem apps. It selected NetSuite OneWorld over Sage and Microsoft Dynamics Navision. GPS went live in less than 63 days and instantly saw benefits with improved global visibility into revenue performance, cash flow and fixed assets.
A growing customer base
Investment enabled GPS to propel into new markets, establishing offices in Australia and its APAC HQ in Singapore. The company is using Salesforce for CRM and plans to integrate it with NetSuite as part of a wider strategy to grow its customer base and enable the rapid deployment of its solutions worldwide.
