NetSuite Streamlines Processes, Delivers Insights for Nonprofit

Faster, more visible financials: With the technology donation from Oracle NetSuite Social Impact group, LASROC uses NetSuite for all aspects of financials, from cash flow and reporting to donation management. Executives and financial personnel have real-time visibility and reporting that weren’t possible in their old system. Processes run faster—for instance, payroll journal entries that took two hours are complete in five minutes with NetSuite.

Channeling savings into client aid: Besides saving time, LASROC has eliminated a $7,000 annual maintenance bill to their old system while transitioning to a paperless environment. The nonprofit channels those savings into programs that help about 10,000 people in domestic violence, child support, immigration, eviction and other civil cases. Finance personnel have more flexibility to contribute elsewhere in the organization.

Better transparency and donation management: LASROC maximized its value with a pro bono engagement by Oracle NetSuite Social Impact to build an executive dashboard and share valuable how-to tips. It’s improved its donation applications and management with more reliable data that improves transparency. With 20 new personnel in the last three years, LASROC is now better equipped to deliver its vital services.
